Enjoy these-thanks.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I've_Been_Everywhere I been everywhere is the grandaddy of geography songs-most famously by Willie Nelson and Johhnny Cash

Carolina In my mind, Only a dream in Rio-James taylor
brownsville girl, Kingsport town, and if a song doesn't need to have a geographic reference in the title, Big River and Wagon Wheel (latter greatly expanded by Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show) have extensive geo referneces, and are great songs to boot.

I need some help. I am working for a company which runs a corn maze. This year the theme is 'music' and I am preparing clues to get people through the maze based on the names of cities and states in song titles or used in a song. I have no problem getting this info from 'oldies' music, but I want some contemporary artists.
Any suggestions?

Dear Not,

Sorry, I haven't kept up very much, so that's why most of the songs listed here are kinda moldy-oldies.

Impressing list Eric! I discovered it while working on a similar project: musical odes to cities and villages, punt on a geographical map. You can find it here and contribute if you wish.

Hi Eric, great list. Came across a little gem about Benson Arizona, just north of Tombstone. Cannot find it on your list. It was sung by John Yager as part of the soundtrack to a 1970's movie called "Dark Star" directed by John Carpenter. A real toe tapper. Hope you'll add it.
